Healthy skin is built through consistency, clarity, and thoughtful care. Your skin changes over time and even from season to season. Your skincare should also change to address these needs.

I believe in supporting the skin barrier, using corrective treatments intentionally, and focusing on sustainable results rather than quick fixes. Whether you’re navigating acne, hormonal shifts, postpartum changes, or menopause, your skin deserves thoughtful care tailored to where you are right now.

My role is not only to improve your skin during your appointment, but to help you understand it — so you can care for it confidently at home. As an esthetician I have experience and training in skin analysis, peels, ingredient knowledge, and facial massage.

Skincare should feel calm and clear — not overwhelming.

Anna Roorda - your esthetician

Hi, I’m Anna, also known as The Bare Skinologist. I’m currently training as a student esthetician at Collin College in Plano, Texas. I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and comfortable in their skin.

Life rarely moves in a straight line. Over the years, I’ve been a mom, educator, artist, photographer, and business owner. Each role has shaped the way I work and the way I care for people.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Baylor University, and teaching has always been central to who I am. I’ve spent years educating my own children at home, teaching in co-op settings, and working closely with families. Through those experiences, I learned how powerful trust and understanding can be when someone feels truly supported.

My journey into skincare is deeply personal. Just a few days after turning 44, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy and several reconstruction surgeries, the esthetician that was treating my scars, invited me to come in for a facial there at the plastic surgery clinic. I had never had a facial! I went in for a facial and just kept going back every six weeks. I could tell what a difference it was making in my skin! It felt good to feel confident in my skin, which is not something I had ever felt. That experience inspired me to pursue esthetics, so I could help others feel nurtured, supported, and radiant at every stage of life.

I focus on clean, gentle, and personalized treatments. Taking the time to listen, educate, your time with me is tailored to your unique skin needs. Beyond just skincare, I want your time with me to a be restorative to your nervous system; a time to take a deep breath and decompress. My goal is to give you healthy, glowing skin you feel proud of—inside and out.
